01What this site is
Traveloffsy publishes travel guides built mostly from official statistics and government sources. The guides are general information, not personal advice: they are not legal, visa, health, safety or financial advice.
Before you travel, check anything important, such as holiday dates, entry rules and opening times, with the official source. Each guide links to the sources it uses.
02Accuracy
We read every figure at its source and give the date we checked it. Official figures are revised and dates change, so a page can go out of date. Rates, fees, allowances and limits change most often: where a page gives an amount, it links to the official page so you can check the latest figure there. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will check it against the source. How we research explains the method.
03Using our content
The facts and data come from the official sources named on each page; anyone can use them under those sources' own terms, which the guides link to. The way we have written, explained and arranged them (our words, verdicts, tables and charts) is our own work: please ask us before copying it. The exception is any text a page marks as shared under an open licence, for example text adapted from Wiktionary, which is shared under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence (CC BY-SA 4.0), like the originals, and you may reuse them on its terms.
The photos belong to their photographers and are used under the Pexels or Pixabay licence: see photo credits.
04Links to other websites
Some links take you to other websites, including booking websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, prices or availability. Some links may be affiliate links: the affiliate disclosure explains how they work.
05Bookings
If you book through a link on this site, you book with that website, under its own terms. We are not part of the booking and cannot change, cancel or refund it; please contact the website you booked with.
06No guarantees
We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is, without guarantees. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from relying on it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law that cannot be taken away.
